Originally a British phrase from the Battle of Balaclava, the Thin Red Line symbol has become popular in the US and Canada to commemorate fallen firefighters and to symbolize their support by the community.
This Thin Red Line cribbage board is made from your choice of wood and measures 10" by 16".
It features three continuous tracks, and comes with nine metal cribbage pegs which are stored in a pocket in the back with a sliding brass plate for closure.
The US flag is engraved into the surface and hand-painted with black acrylic paint, with the central stripe painted in red.
We do not paint the "white" stars and stripes, instead leaving the natural wood tones to show through. Because of this, we would recommend choosing a light-toned wood, such as maple or cherry.
You can also add a badge number or last name in the central red stripe.
The top four edges have a generous chamfer adding to the style of the board. After sanding smooth, this board is brushed with shellac to protect the wood.
If you would like a message engraved on the back of the board, you can add that here: Back Engraving
Once you have placed your order, we will contact you by email with a mock-up of the board for you to approve.
If you need the mockup in advance, please email us the details and we'll put that together for you.
