These spiral two-track boards come as standard with six metal pegs in the color combination of your choice.
They usually measure approx 7 inches to 10 inches in diameter. The pegs live inside a pocket in the back of the board, held securely by a sliding brass plate.
Each board is a natural slice of the tree and varies in coloration, character, knots, cracks, checking and thickness.
Small cracks are repaired and after sanding smooth on the top, this board is brushed with shellac to protect the wood. This finish also help hold the bark in place, but as the board ages, some bark pieces may detatch. These can usually be fixed back on with wood glue or other adhesives.
