Oak Steampunk 2 Track

I love the steampunk genre, with its victorian optimism, and this is my homage to the genre.

This oak board has clockwork gears set into the board and protected with a flood of clear epoxy. This two-track oak board comes as standard with six metal pegs in the color combination of your choice. The pegs live inside a pocket in the back of the board, held securely by a sliding brass plate. The top four edges have a generous chamfer adding to the style of the board. After sanding smooth, this board has been hand-rubbed with Danish Oil, a mixture of oils and varnish, and brushed with shellac.

Please note - each board made in this style is unique and different. Yours may not look exactly the same as the one pictured, but will be made in a similar style!  In the accompanying picture, you can also see a brass plate on the end. peg storage, and a larger plate, has now been moved to the back of the board.
